Hello, I’m
Maya Carter.

A 30-year-old lifestyle creator and photographer in Portland, Oregon. The Sunday Ink is where I document the everyday — not the perfect home, but the real, lived-in one.

I’m Maya — a lifestyle creator and photographer who never got the hang of the “perfect” anything. Instead I point my camera at the everyday: the hidden café two blocks off the main street, the weekend road trip with no real destination, the local market on a Saturday, the bookstore you lose an afternoon in.

I started The Sunday Ink because the internet had gotten loud, and I wanted somewhere slow. No team, no content calendar, no algorithm to feed — just me, a camera, and a standing appointment with Sunday morning. I write about the products and places that genuinely make an ordinary day better, and nothing that doesn’t.

If any of it makes your own week a little slower, it has done its job.
